A Look Back At 2020

Posted by True Moringa on

2020 tested us in so many ways, but we made it, and we witnessed a lot of truly beautiful things happen because of this community. Here's a look at a few of our favorite memories:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Pre-pandemic, we had the honor of sharing our story with the Whole Foods North Atlantic team and bringing True Moringa to Whole Foods stores throughout New England
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. We teamed up with Elements Truffles and with your help, donated over 200 self-care kits to frontline workers and 2,200 meals to women in need
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. With our favorite Made in Ghana brands, we launched Thrive Together, the first online marketplace of its kind in Ghana to help customers shop safely & help preserve 7000 jobs
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. We launched sanitizer & face masks, donating a sanitizer to children and families in need for every purchase
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. We were featured in Elle alongside some of our favorite Black owned skincare brands and partnered with more of our favorites like Nuele and Pholk who used our moringa oil to make magic of their own, & helped us make the planet a little greener by planting hundreds of moringa trees
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. 1.5 years after our moringa powder factory burned to the ground, we launched our own Organic True Moringa Powder - a complete vegan protein for wellness inside & out
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
7. We made the comfiest face masks, tees, and sweats with CovidWears to raise funds for COVID-19 relief in the US & Ghana and launched our True Moringa Community Fund to provide small grants to farmers
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
8. You helped us raise $200,000 to help our farming families thrive during a difficult year through Kiva
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
9. We launched in MightyNest, Beauty Tap and in Causebox with our Rejuvenating Body Polish featuring Vega Coffee
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We're so grateful, a little tired, & ready to take on whatever 2021 brings our way. Here's to the new year!
